Read our operating principles https://www.airwallex.com/en-us/operating-principles to see it in full.   HOW YOU'LL MAKE IMPACT Own Airwallex’s banking partnerships strategy across the UK and Europe, supporting the growth of our global collections and payouts network. - Build and manage strategic relationships with banking partners, financial institutions, payment networks, local acquirers and payment methods, acting as the main point of contact between Airwallex and our partners. - Identify and evaluate partnership opportunities as Airwallex expands into new geographies, using market research and competitive insight to strengthen our position as a payments leader. - Coordinate due diligence and project-manage onboarding with prospective partners, working across Product, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Commercial teams to move complex opportunities forward. - Develop your profile as an industry thought leader while working with banking infrastructure that supports Airwallex’s growth across the UK and Europe. You'll work from our London office three days a week. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Essentials - 10+ years’ experience working with financial institutions, global and regional banks, and payment networks. - Experience building and maintaining relationships with financial institutions in the UK and Europe while working at a payment institution or EMI. - A strong network of banking partners, financial institutions and payment networks. - Strong understanding of compliance and onboarding requirements for global and regional banks. - Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Product, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Commercial. - International experience working across multiple markets or managing cross-border relationships. - A proven track record of working with technology-led businesses in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. - Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to connect with people at all levels and communicate project expectations clearly. - Strong negotiation skills, with the judgment to navigate complex commercial discussions and secure the best outcomes for Airwallex. - Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships. - A self-starter who thinks creatively and works effectively through ambiguity and constant change. - A collaborative team player who can work cohesively across the organisation and inspire a shared vision.
